2 sticks is better and faster according to some experts. pero like "tsunade" said, the difference is really un-noticeable by us unless you're using memory intense apps.

however using 1 stick has an advantage you can put more RAM into your system if your motherboard allows it. It's a bit cheaper than using 2 sticks.
