PCG to acquire additional disaster response equipment worth P152M

MANILA, Aug. 24 (PNA) – To further boost the country’s disaster response capability, the Department of Transportation and Communications and the Philippine Coast Guard are set to procure additional disaster response equipment worth P152 million.

The DOTC invited on Friday interested providers to participate in an open and transparent bidding for the procurement of 40 rubber boats worth P32 million and 15 M35 6x6 trucks amounting to P120 million.

The disaster response equipment is in addition to the P521-million disaster response equipment that the DOTC and PCG announced last July.

The 40 rubber boats will be deployed in PCG’s national headquarters along with three M35 trucks while the 12 PCG District Offices will get one M35 truck each. The equipment will be used to facilitate timely response to disaster situations.

i'm no longer active.had my days and now serving this country in another way.my job now is more important right now that i can't spare my weekends or even week days para CAD.maybe when i retire early then active ko balik.
