So, I said before that If I happen to find an original 1989 Gameboy model DMG-01 I would buy it in a heartbeat. I got this from sulit from a guy named "Markus". At first I was hesitant when I saw the ad, 400bucks and a Mario Land game cartridge for 100 bucks. I took a leap of faith: it was either a 500 peso "Rock" or a 500 peso Gameboy. Fortunately, it pulled through. Thanks to that "Markus" guy for this awesome relic. I originally posted this on my FB and told X about it and he said to show it here in istorya as well. So, here you go guys.

I'm still looking for another GB Classic unit. Preferrably the Transparent one (FAT or Pocket, doesn't matter) I have "special" plans for that one hehehehehe

bro. so sad na wala na ang gaisano south. i used to buy jack sparrow GB carts there. for only around 100-200php. tsk... huhuhh no more gaisano south today T_T

Yeah, I also hear about getting working condition GBs in the district as well but I dunno. . .I don't have the time to go to there nowadays soo yeah. . .
Anyways, I got another shipment coming up after this: managed to track down some Original GB carts as well. Getting them tomorrow (LBC) Looking for another GB unit tho. . .I got's special plans for that one hehehe

Lain au feeling mo dula og vintage nga famicom kay murag pressure kaayo sa handling og operations. Lisod na maguba kay usually irreplaceable na... So I did the next best thing... Nipalit ko og laing unit for backup purposes! hehehe Bought this from the same guy sa sulit (si sir Ed or retrogamerph), perfect buy for me kay clean and white ang unit and naa pod lightgun.



Oh by the way, pag testing nako sa unit kay na discourage ko kay I thought defective ang lightgun. Maski asa part sa screen ko mo aim, sa tunga ra jud siya mo register. (Gi cge ko kataw-an atong iro sa Duck Hunt lol) So I did some research about repairs/defects pero it turned out that the problem is technology. Dili diay mo work ang lightguns with newer screens like Plasma or LED/LCD, strictly for CRT monitors ra jud siya.
