Let's imagine nga in the Philippines a long time ago, naay mga tawo nga nag puyo sa usa ka gamay nga village sa Luzon, ug naa pod mga tawo living in a small village in Cebu. Unya low tech kaayo ang both villages.

Now one day, the villagers from Cebu was able to go to Luzon and visited the Luzon village. Ang pangutana--which of the two civilizations is more advanced than the other, and explain ngano man.

In my own opinion.....neither of the two groups can be "justly" compared to each other and claim that either one is more advance than the other........They are equal in their own rights.

Why?.?

Simple...In their "own" ways (culture/tradition/technology/et2xc) they are absolute within their "own" sphere,,,, until they themselves compare with each other for the things that they lack or the things that they have.

To simplify the explanation:

Ang taga cebu (aliens) mura "kunohay" ug mas advance kay sila man kunohay maoy nka una ug distant seafaring (or that matter intergalactic travel for aliens)...Pero are the Cebuanos (aliens) more advance?.? ...hmmm....NO...why? because they do not know a tremendous LOT about anything about the inhabitants of Luzon (earth).......The aliens may be more advance when it comes to gadgets and gizmos and other crazy stuffs but do they know how to cook a crispy chicharon? or to swindle your neighbor?, or to burp and fart at the same time? etc2x.............That gives both parties equality....until such time that they mingle with each other and learn with each other only to find out that there are ALWAYS limits and boundaries from both species that one can NEVER attain.


Another point of view:

We humans thought that we are far more advance than the lowly ants.....Hmmmhpp. in some ways yes....but I cannot possibly detect a sweet candy unless it's right in front of me.. a thing that a lowly ant CAN several feet away in total darkness.

hahaha I know what you are referring to sir rodsky...I'm only fooling around with my answers just so that you won't close this thread..(but I still believe that you will eventually)....Besides,,,,philosophical answers are never meant for scientific queries...I was just fooling around and risking an infarction at the same time...hehe But your right, it has already been correctly answered and the story ends
