i really hope so. think about it, would he really let squatters stay on the prime lot? he will eventually relocate those squatters to a relocation site and use the prime lot. if we know better, there is already a deal or a consortium between the city and a private entity in the pipeline.

IMHO, I think Cebu City will be better off without Gwen and Tomas. Maau pa tang-tangon na silang duha. Nag pakauwaw lang silang duha. It's unthinkable what they're doing now. It's just like they're playing with the Cebuano people's lives, money and trust. They should remember that they're there because they have a job to do and they should in conscience do it well. It's a shame we have a governor and a mayor who will put their pride over and above good governance.
They should keep in mind everybody's watching. From the local to the national and international media. I cannot imagine what people will be saying about this circus going on.

As Cebuanos, we deserve a governor AND a mayor better than those 2 clowns !

i understand your point but i cannot think of anybody who can replace those 2 who have the same economic acumen and strong political will regardless of their current feud.

i would like to think this is just a conflict of great minds but i'm hopeful this will be ironed out soon because knowing that both are for the progress of Cebu that's if they will put their prides aside.

Yeah you're probably right but PRIDE - that's the key word, isn't it ? If both of them can just swallow it, then both of them can move on. But will they ??
Right now, they're doing a lousy job of being role models to us all. They're the perfect examples of what government officials SHOULD NOT be doing !
Let's just hope they'll resolve it soon. But I believe there are people out there who are better than the 2 of them. Only they don't have the opportunity, the machinery or the money to run a political campaign And if I don't believe that , then we're doomed. That would mean, in the whole of Cebu they're the ONLY ones capable of leading us. That's hard to comprehend.
