why do we need to love god?
god is already almighty. do you think a being as great as god would need something from man?
we are insignificant.
the concept of christianity stands on the assumption that we are the only living being in the universe.
and earth is the center of the universe. that is why we feel very important to god.
with the vastness of the universe. its quite arrogant to claim that we are alone in the universe. im pretty positive we are not alone in this universe.

no, where not the center of the universe, we are even smaller than we can imagine...
but the mystery of it all is that He loves us so much and made us in His image and likeness...
what is more arrogant?to say that God loves us? or to say that we don't need to love Him...
and yes, He is God, He doesnt need our worship...'cause even if we dont love Him...He is still God...
but how about us? we are just the created, the created can never be greater than the creator..
even frankenstein worshipped his master..hehehe...
and the concept of Christianity is that God loved us so much and salvation alone cannopt be attained by man...
and because God does not violate even the law of redemption..that a sacrifice has to made in atonement of sins...
it requires Himself, took the form of a servant..took our place...

If jesus was the son of god. and his death saved us from sin.
then why are we still sinners after more than 2000 years?
isnt jesus' death a complete waste of time?

Jesus Son of God, became son of man, so that we sons of men might become children of God..
Christ died for everyone, but salvation is for those who believed in His sacrifice..
the best way to repay His sacrifice is to try not to sin and trust Him in every way..
what is impossible for man becomes possible with Christ...

Yes we are insignificant before him but that is where you can see how he loved us so much, being created in his image. Again, the concept of true love is very real to those who have experienced it. Andam ka mohatag sa tanan even your own life just to save that person! If we can do that to our spouse whom we only knew nga dagko nata, how much of God who sustains and gives us life?

If you're awed to the wonders of his creation in this tiny earth how much more in heaven with Him? God wants his creation to experience more of his glorious abundance in eternity. Heaven is an infinite chase of the wonders and glories of God.

No we're not the center of the universe but we are the focus of God's creation. Of all the years of studies of extra terrestrial life, scientists found no proof of life besides earth. All are just speculations! remember that satan will always try to divert us from the truth.

A true atheist doesn't need to prove there is no God, coz technically he/she know NOTHING about God.

When you die there is no way for you to know the truth. Your brains holds the logical facts of life, it's just that a part of it has been clouded since our birth. These clouds will never disappear until your death, not unless you'll find the truth you've been longing for while you are alive. Heaven is something you can create right here on earth, simply because it is originated from an earthly beliefs. Try to look around you, how many people around you has live a life comparable to HELL simply because they have nothing to eat, and forced to do evil things that might end up them going to HELL if it there is really a HELL.. HELL are for those who believed in HEAVEN these people are those who done evil things in the street or in an institution with their white robes and sacramental paraphernalia. The only difference between these two evil doings, they labeled themselves HOLY and the other one is Immoral... I am not an Atheist or something but I don't believe the man who speak about the Man who saves the world, simply because he only speak about what he read and heard. Believe me, he will run as fast as Hell when it's turn for him to be Crucified.. Find the truth inside your heart, not in someone's tongue.. BOOM!!!

There are over 10,000 kinds of faiths/religions of the world. Why is Christianity so arrogant saying that their kind of "life after death" is what will happen? And you're arrogantly saying "What if you're wrong?" So what if I'm also wrong about Shiva and Hinduism? What if I'm wrong about the 50+ virgins waiting for me in heaven (as described in Islam if I died a martyr)? What if I'm wrong about Kolob (Kolob is a star or planet described in Mormon scripture. Reference to Kolob is found in the Book of Abraham, a work published by Joseph Smith, Jr., the founder of the Latter Day Saint movement. According to this work, Kolob is the heavenly body nearest to the throne of God.)?

So again pag manguta ka sa ako "What if you're wrong boss?" again I ask you, kang kinsang version sa WRONG? Kay if I believe in one religion's version of paradise, then wrong man sad ko sa another religion, and if I believe in this other religion's version of paradise or hell, wrong na sad ko sa another religion...see why religions are really just "versions" of how man wants to "escape" the sordid idea that after death there is really nothing else? Well, fear is normal, so I won't stop you people from fearing death and embracing religion--ako, kaya na nako i-accept, that there is nothing after death, kamo, you can't handle it, because you wish there is more, and that's perfectly normal--it's your choice, and my choice is simply to accept the facts as reason and logic presents it to me. It is an honest view, because a) it doesn't collect money from its believers, and b) the facts don't conflict with each other (unlike with different religions and beliefs, nga ang mga "facts" nila ga-conflict with each other.

Good question! A perfect world can only be realized when God rules during the millennial reign of Christ.

Because we're still living in a sinful world (which is cursed) & we still live in our sinful bodies. We are slowly being "Sanctified" and cleansed until we go to be in Heaven with Christ. And when we get there we will be fully "Cleansed". As of now, for those who have been 'Forgiven' by Christ (those that are born-again Christians).. they are only *seen* as Perfect in God's eyes.. because He sees the reflection of Jesus.. He does not see us as our sinful selves.

"For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace."Romans 6:14

Now this is what God makes available to every believer. God may provide an abundance of food; but if you neglect to put it in your mouth, you can still starve to death. This promise is only those who have repented - turned from their sin and unbelief, and received the gift of God through faith in Jesus. The rest are still under the power of Satan, and they will share in Satan's punishment.

Your God is contented is seeing millions of children starve to death in Africa. But he wants your 10 percent every month.
Your God is contented is in seeing millions of his creation suffer from diseases. But He loves us so much he gave his only begotten son.

still not a reason to generalize..and besides religion can't bring you to salvation...
say for example, you have a lot of tattoos, people would say your a bad person just because
a lot of people who have tattoos are usually bad or drug addicts...but not all...'cause others are just expressing their artistic side...
same goes with faith..not all are businessminded

there are lots of reasons people work in a church.
laziness is one reason. in the church you do not have to work hard. all you do is pray, how heavy is that?
money is easy, you just mention the word god and people hand their money to you, tax free.
people can be controlled together with their money. Just instill fear in them. fear of eternal damnation in hell.
