That's true. We'll just hope they would try to bridge the mind and the heart.

A true atheist doesn't need to prove there is no God, coz technically he/she know NOTHING about God.

Science is about Scientific Method recognizes ONLY empirical data no more than the senses suggest.

WHILE religion is an entirely separate epistemology and its conclusions are derived in an entirely

different manner. Therefore any perceived "evidence" PRO or CON is completely subjective "It is WHAT it is"

and open to interpretation. However other EPISTEMOLOGIES combined with science can strongly suggest diety

but alone science is silent on the matter.

    akong status karon Very Confused!!!

i have may questions about religion. mahadlok lang ko mag ask kay i also fear sayup ko. what if naa gyud? then i will burn in hell if i dont believe it. so karon, go with the flow ra gyud ko. as long as wala koy napasakitan sa isig ka ingon i think im good with it.

makasuya sad bya ang mga non believer, they have all the freedom to do thins they want so progressive kaayu sila. ang grabe gyud kay kanang tao nga believer then openly commits mortal sins. ex: Kris aquino, makita nimo sa tv mosimba pero dili ikalimud nga daghan na siyag gi ******.

kaning 3rd nimo nga "When people have embraced atheism, the historical results can be horrific"
mao ni ako kuyawan sad, there will come a time though not in my generation. soon they people will laugh at our history on why we believed in such religion. wonder lang ko, will there be more people from the past who will go to heaven than to the upcoming generations nga dili na mutoo ug ginoo? everything on earth changes through time. it is expected nga mas daghan makasasala sa next generation compared sa ealier generations. is it justifiable to send those sinners to hell or will God adjust the standard limit in weighing sins? murag katong exam namo nga 1-100 den 34 raman ang highest so ang 34 ang gihimong perfect score nya akong 20 is above 50% so kapasar sad.

ayaw ko ninyu awaya ha. opinion rasad raba na nako heheh

@jaoey, allow me to share sa akong opinion brod...

    akong status karon Very Confused!!!

Wala may angay ikahadlok brod kung nangita jud ta sa kamatuoran.
That’s nice living at peace with anybody but god wants more than that, he wants us to have a relationship with him. Being good to anybody will one day change but if you’re with god whatever circumstances come your way, he is able to give comfort and carry you through.

makasuya sad bya ang mga non believer, they have all the freedom to do thins they want so progressive kaayu sila. ang grabe gyud kay kanang tao nga believer then openly commits mortal sins. ex: Kris aquino, makita nimo sa tv mosimba pero dili ikalimud nga daghan na siyag gi ******.
There is some truth in it but it’s half truth. Progress or success in life can be achieved by anybody, believer or non-believer. God is fair to all. He said in his word that he gives rain to the just and the unjust. While we are in this world, atong success is directly proportional sa atong paningkamot. Duna lang mga butang in which dili angay buhaton as a believer, especially if it hurts the rights of the other person. For the unbeliever wala nay problema as long as it satisfies their lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. That’s the difference.

kaning 3rd nimo nga "When people have embraced atheism, the historical results can be horrific" mao ni ako kuyawan sad, there will come a time though not in my generation. soon they people will laugh at our history on why we believed in such religion.
Tinuod man sya brod. Because we are made in the image of God. We think and we feel and each individual is sacred. If people try to violate that, dili kalikayan nga destruction jud ang mahimong resulta.
wonder lang ko, will there be more people from the past who will go to heaven than to the upcoming generations nga dili na mutoo ug ginoo? everything on earth changes through time. it is expected nga mas daghan makasasala sa next generation compared sa earlier generations. is it justifiable to send those sinners to hell or will God adjust the standard limit in weighing sins? murag katong exam namo nga 1-100 den 34 raman ang highest so ang 34 ang gihimong perfect score nya akong 20 is above 50% so kapasar sad.
Hheehe. Ang ginoo ra jud nakabalo sa tanan brod! In my opinion, God never change but people do.
The fact that god gave a simple commandment to Adam and Eve it’s because wala pa silay enough knowledge in their surroundings and the world. Dili man mofit sa ilang kahimtang kung hatagan sila ug 10 commandments, they don’t have any idea what adultery means…etc. When humanity progressed and their knowledge increased, god gave them the 10 commandments which are very applicable sa ilang kahimtang. Also to preserve righteousness for the holy people of god (israel) whose lineage will the messiah be born. Now in these present times atong ma relate ang development sa humanity as the mature stage, our loving father knows what we need to live in peace and harmony. Strict rules and laws is not that effective anymore but the changing of one’s heart is the answer. He sent his son to die on our behalf that we may be reconciled to him. That is how he shows his grace, mercy and so great love.

AFAIK, iyang standard for us to get to heaven is to have christ in our lives. Let the power of god change our lives through the Holy Spirit.

    1 John 5:12
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
"Jesus said unto her, I am the Resurrection, and the Life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he Live"(John 11:25)

    Jesus Is Eternal Life

I understand where you're coming from.. You have difficulty comprehending the principle of macro evolution since your mind is limited to the concept of a 6,000 year old Earth which is being taught by some religious groups and your parents. I had the same experience.

Belief in a "young Earth" continued among scientists, until the early 18th century, when it became obvious to most researchers that geological processes were exceedingly slow, and must have been accomplished over incredibly long periods of time. A 5,800 year old earth simply was not possible. A hundred years later, investigators studying Egyptian relics found that "...civilization of Egypt began earlier than the time assigned for the creation of man." Once released from the time constraints imposed by the young Earth concept, progress in geology and other earth scientists advanced by leaps and bounds.
