Hello, are there any doctors or interns here? Or any medical practitioners? I badly need your help. I know that the initial onset of symptoms after HIV infection would start to show within 2-6 weeks after contact. I also know that the initial symptoms may include fever (38 degree C or up), body malaise, sore throat, rashes, diarrhea, and swollen glands.

I had *** with a prostitute last July 14 and started having low grade fever adtong July 23 until now. Is it too early? Inday2x ra nga fever. My nose feels a bit congested but wala koy sore throat. Nag diarrhea ko, it started ganiha tungod kay wa koy tarong kaon since monday tungod sa paranoia. Wala koy swollen lymph nodes, there's a bit of body malaise tungod sa fever. I used condom during the intercourse, in fact I used 3, in 1 session. I know dili ma transfer through saliva ang virus but iya ko gi bj without the condom and I'm still a bit worried.

I wanted to go to the hospital and have myself checked but as I have read, ang antibodies for HIV mugawas ra after 2-3 months, sometimes up to 6 months so the test may give false negative results. It may be too early. Based on what I stated above, what are the chances of me having the virus? What are the possible infections based on my signs and symptoms? What else can I do? I need your help please.

It could just be another type of STD, but HIV cannot be ruled out. Yup, it takes time before ma hibaw-an kung naa ba kay HIV. There's no judgment here TS, *** is part of being us -- problema lang, wala ka mag protection. Usa sa pinaka dali mahibaw-an kung naa kay HIV is kung mag lisud imong lawas og heal sa mga ordinary diseases like ear infection or recurring fungal infections.

The good news is that you can be HIV positive for 15 to 20 years, basta mahibaw-an lang og sayo. Mas daghan pa mamatay og sayo kay naligsan sa jeep. I know lisud jud mag pa examine karon panahuna due to how the public views HIV/AIDS. This is reality, so unta people are not judgmental when it comes to this illness. Who knows, 10 years from now, mura nalang og sip-on ang HIV tambalan

UPDATE: Opps.. wala nako mabasa ang message ni TS. Nag condom diay sya, which means less ang chances nga nag ka HIV sya. Hopefully, nag lubricant sya kay kapila nako naka gamit og condom nga na bungkag.

Go see a Doctor your just paranoid you were using condoms so chances of you getting HIV is slim......

Ahm... Basin makatabang akong ginagmay nga stack up knowledge bro.

1. HIV is hard to transmit thru saliva. It would take many gallons of saliva for an HIV infected person to transmit the disease. So I ruled out nga matakdan ka ug HIV thru bl0wjobs. Even Hepatitis B (same as deadly with HIV), dili ka matakdan thru kissing.

2. Ingon akong amigo nga doctor, naa kuno ni sa ilang Medical Journal, I don't know if reliable ba to trust it but at least makapa relieved ni nimo. Rare kuno ka ma takdan ug HIV if naka unprotected s3x ka with an infected person for only once. ..

Ma worried naka kung hilig ka ug multiple partners...

3. It's possible another type of STD na imoha. Pero ayaw pod palabi kompyansa, kay bisan dili makamatay, daghan na pod mga na STD nga na Sterile or Infertile.

4. Sa usa ka government hospital diri Cebu, almost 90% sa reported HIV persons sa Cebu City, are Male who are belonging to LGTB. Basta ayaw lang pamayot bro...
