For Jesus Christ said it Himself " You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit". In closing, we are not under the law of GOD anymore just like in the old testament. But we are under HIS grace.

I just want to share my thoughts with regards to the TS' concern. I think your a believer already. So, I wont answer to your query cause it will ultimately lead to an argument because we have different viewpoint, standpoint, and understanding of GOD's word. To each his own~

Simple ra lagi ang measurement ninyo mga christians, if Jesus is alive today and is in our midst, MAGPA TATTOO KAHA SIYA O DILI?

Jesus had dinner with tax collectors but did not compromise His goal in sharing about salvation.high priests thought it wasn't right 'cause tax collectors were considered to be "sinful" in Jesus' time..and said to themselves if He's a teacher of the law then why is He having dinner with them?(as Jewish people were taught to not have anything to do with "unclean" people).but Jesus did otherwise..
if so, maybe He would have gotten a tattoo but maybe He wouldn't but one thing is for sure..He knows all heart, and He would understand....haha
