The Cebu Collaboration of Outdoor Enthusiasts is organizing an event called: RAKRAKAN PARA SA KINAIYAHAN: Preserve a forest edition. This event aims to educate the younger generation about the negative impact of charcoal burning and tree cutting for coal production. It will also showcase our pilot project of nature sanctuary in one of the mountains here in Cebu. In this venture, we are planning to hire the charcoal maker as eco guides and marshall to preserve and protect the mountain from further destruction. To make this possible, we draw fund from our personal pockets and organize a fund raising event.
