LCD TVs
This type of TV uses a layer of liquid crystal solution contained between two polarizing panels to create an image. The electric current rearranges the crystals in order to bend the available light and block it from shining through the screen. A light source at the rear of the display panel directs light through the crystals. This combination of clear and dark crystals creates the picture.

LED TVs
LED TVs are just a new variation of the standard LED technology. The major difference is in the backlighting. The typical LCD uses a flourescent backlight while LED TVs use LED lights as the name implies. These lights last longer, use less energy and can automatically adjust to provide deeper blacks or more vivid colors.

Which One Is Best?

Depending on your needs and your screening room, either of these technologies could be the right choice.

• Weight – Because of the glass panels, plasma TVs are heavier that LCD TVs of similar sizes. This is a major consideration if you’re wall-mounting the TV
• Energy Usage – LEDs generally use even less electricity.
• Transportation – LCDs and LEDs are more forgiving, but care must still be taken to prevent damage.
• Burn-In – LCD and LED TVs are almost burn-in proof. If your TV will be left on for long periods of time or you’re a gamer, go with the LCD or LED TV.
• True Blacks and Warm Tones – LED technology has improved this capability for the LCD market.
• Viewing Angle – If you only view the TV from directly in front of the screen, the LCD or LED will work fine. For clear views from the side, go with the Plasma TV.
• Lighting – LCD/LED is better for bright rooms; Plasma is better for darker areas.
• Screen Size – Once you exceed 42 inches, the Plasma screen is the better choice.
• Price – LCD is the least expensive followed by LED technology. Plasma TVs are usually the most expensive.

The main difference between these two televisions is that LED televisions use LED or Light Emitting Diodes to light the screen while LCD televisions use cold-cathode fluorescent lights or mostly known as CFL lights to light the screen on it. Therefore, you can see that there might not be that much of a difference in the feature evaluation of LED VS LCD and it might also be a big waste of time thinking about the winner in an LED VS LCD encounter.

However, there are a few differences between the LED and LCD televisions which are still adding fuel to this burning clash of LED VS LCD television. Among them, the most important one is the thickness of these televisions. LEDs, since they use LED lights, can be thinner than other LCDs as well as the plasma televisions. So, this is a winning blow from the new LED televisions. In addition to that, since LED televisions use LED lights, the picture is more clear and crisp in an LED television. According to this, pure white is brighter and dark black is deeper in an LED television compared to the LCD televisions. This is not the end of LED VS LCD war. Compared to LEDs, LCD televisions are quite cheaper; at least by 100 to 200 dollars. So, people on a budget always pick the LCD from an LED VS LCD dilemma and to be honest, this is an easy decision for them considering the price. Besides that, the LCD televisions are available in almost any departmental store and are very easy to fix or replace. So LCDs have again got some advantages over the LEDs in the battle of LED VS LCD.

However, these features are not enough to make the verdict on the LED VS LCD. It is evident that in the fight of LED VS LCD, it will be very difficult to declare the universal winner that everyone will accept and it will be a waste of time arguing which is the best between these two.

Kung pde pa lang 32 inch LED (Sony)..

Para nko i'll go nalang sa LCD na Sony, even though naa jud big difference between pixel resolution/image resolution sa LCD og LED. Prefer nako ang Sony tungod sa brand, makasalig jud ka.

kung tv ang hisgotan nindot ang LED,.. pero kung computer monitor ang hisgutan masnindot ang LCD, kay ang LED na computer monitor kasagaran pirting silawa sa puti makadaot og mata, masking giadjust na ang brightness og contrast pirting silawa jud sa puti.
