christian in a sense that he/she is associate to the "christian" belief.

being "christian" is a constant struggle. even the nicest Christians can commit the most horrible mistake/sin
what makes him "christian" in behavior is... if he/she acknowledge that mistake and correct it.

Those two verses (From Chapter An-Nisa [The Women]) are like....126 verses apart. This chapter has over 170 verses. Read between the verses. Polygamy is permitted but discouraged (is what the second part u mentioned means).

Surat An-Nisa' - The Noble Qur'an Maybe try reading it since u only "heard" about it.

Your analogy is wrong. Not all Nike shoes are Nike, because some Nike's are fake.

All dogs are dogs; just as all Christians are Christians. There is no such thing as a fake Christian and a real Christian. The one who claims he is a real Christian is a hypocrite. Don't you all worship the same God?
