This should be our mindset though (Innovation).
I don't know if our case with natural resources is the same with Japan.
Last time I heard we have the natural resources and we have the man power.
Abunda kaayo ta sa tawo and we have enough stupidity to make more.

We should stop being contented with being arms and legs (and mouth i guess) of progress.
We should invest in Research and Development!!!

725M$ thats cheap if its really a mobile suit compared that to 1B$ stealth bomber by the US. plus thats what US are doing... investing on weapons 100% US made to stimulate the economy and provide jobs and opportunity. With japanese innovation i think they can accomplish it, but i doubt it can fly like what we see in the anime i think kadto macros type jet is much plausible
