How to RMA your harddisk to Singapore

Naa man daw Seagate diri sa Lapu-Lapu ingon sa ako g.palitan, ang seller ra pd mag deliver adto sa ila service center sa lapu-lapu

Is that verified? Would be good to know more. So far I've no complaints with the method posted above. Its safe and legit and fast.

The thing is some sellers at tpc would buy defective harddisk from users who don't know that they can rma their units directly to seagate for less than 200 pesos in less than a week.
The tpc seller bought the hdd for peanuts then sold it to other users for very high prices. They would even sell it as brand new if the buyer doesn't know the difference between rma'd unit to brand new units.
So for example. I can buy from a person here in istorya a 500 gb hd for 600php. Have it rma'd to seagate then when I get it back I can sell it to buyers for 2000php up. LOL!

Wa pa nako napangayo ang address sa seagate lapu2, sa Dell nq g.palit ako Seagate HDD and sila nag sulti nako sa Lapu2x naay customer service didto. ;D

Seagate service center daw..
didto man nila ipa repair, e.confirm nq balik and ask ko sa address para sure..

This just came in delivered to my doorstep by UPS. Brand new external(bought at gi but shop warranty expired so I had to rma it) and my 2 1/2 year old internal 1tb hdd returned as certified repaired again.
I only paid 180 pesos to lbc to send both harddisk to manila for rma.

I backed it up. They won't recover your files unless you pay, but maybe not available at seagate singapore which is where philippine hdds are bound. They only give clean and repaired drives or in some cases brand new drives or upgraded spec drives.
