the bible shows that it is not quantity, but quality.

    MATTHEW 7:13-20
“Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it. 15 “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; 18 a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men].”

1st broad and spacious road leading to destruction and MANY are the ones going... = false prophets which by their fruit we can recognize them.
2nd narrow gate and cramped leading to life and FEW are the ones finding it... the one who search the truth will find it... good tree produces fine fruits

read the bible just like some poster here about the Beroeans. they study the bible personally to know "that YOU may prove to yourselves the good and acceptable and perfect will of God." Rom. 12:2

halos kita tanan tingali diri gikan sa dili christian nga upbringing. I became a christian last 2008. My life before that was hopeless coz i didnt find any meaning. ang present ra permi ang gihunahuna, bahalag unsay mahitabo i didnt mind as long as im happy. But now I view life in a different perspective. We are a miracle, fearfully and wonderfully made by the creator. Imagine na ingon nata karon nga gikan lang ta sa sperm. As CS Lewis said,"You do not have a soul. YOU are a soul, YOU have a body."

Welcome man ta tanan to know each others belief and discuss kung makaayo ba sa atoa or dili.

That is a good sign that our souls are really seeking for answers. Kita nga dunay mashare nga kaayuhan padayon ta. actually bro, everyone is seeking for the truth and for something that is everlasting...mao nga ang tao di jud makontento
'cause ang grand design sa tao is only for the one who's Everlasting.
and this is really good bro,Christians with different denominations are united in spreading the love of Christ.

The study of the lives does not at all conive on actuality , just an idea compared to the FANATICS I am talking about of the bible , makita na nimo in accounts unsa ni sila because they existed in this lifetime. But in respect sa reasoning nimo , dont you find it odd when RC's itself based the traditional beliefs on the study of accounts that occured during the very early stages of Christianity ? Other than RC ... gi unsa pag subay ang mga accounts ? of course sa bible but mind you , there are plenty of interpretations lage and I am sure na selective ang pag decide unsa ang angay himuong " sakto " na interpretation.
Still boils down to being SUBJECTIVE in nature and diri delikado ang mga FANATICS .

we have our own thinking nga kita ang nagbuot. Bati sad tingali kung kita2 lang ang mo interpret sa bible and not asking from the elders.
Alangan man ug kutob lang sa 3 generations carrying our last names mangutana ?

The Roman church have their own scholars as well as the protestants. Dunay magkasabot ra between these 2 groups duna say dili. Duna sai naning sa bibliya nga igo lang head knowledge without the holy spirit sa iyang kinabuhi duna sad tinud anay and mostly mga naning are the true Christians. Kung imong i research bro ang mga protestant leaders maoy naa sa frontline karon sa Christianity, who aims for a worldwide revival sa church.
Frontline or business ? Bai ayaw tuyuka ang ulo sa isa ka tao na gamay ra pod ang nahibaw-an bahin ani. Again basta mag mention na pod ta ug TRUE CHRISTIANS , who are these people ? I am sure not the PROTESTANTS.

sa akoa sad bro, KJV akong gamit. dili ko sa mga newer versions coz as what they call it;s dilluted.
Wala man na gi dillute , asa man intawn ka gikan ana na interpretation na pod ?

no its not. if you belong to a certain group which you believed to be teaching the truth and yet it happen nga nakabasa ka ug butang in which ni conflict ang mga practices, dili diay ka mo question or mangita kung unsay tinuod? magpabilin ka bahalag against na sa imong conscience?
Kung ang gipangita nimo na kamatuoran GIPAKITA na sa imoha , that is only rightful to be enlightened unless lage you have a different agenda or goal. Sama sa issue sa PROTESTANTS sa RC's about the POPES , BLESSED VIRGIN MARY and the SAINTS , gi hatagan na bitaw mo ug valid explanations ana , ngano di man ninyo dawaton ? Am I beating the bush here talking about TRUE CHRISTIANS yet denies ACCEPTANCE and RESPECT ?

no its not an excuse if youre really for the truth. Kung against ka with any denomination, you can listen to what Jesus said in the bible. Read it yourself.
Wrong answer ka bai. Ayaw likoa since I am not talking about the BIBLE here , I am talking about CHRISTIAN DENOMINATION otherwise why would I still be seeing people doing INTERNET EVANGELIZATIONS ?

Jesus said in John 18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.
All the denominations will claim this TRUTH. The problem is , is it really the TRUTH ?

    @KING ...

where do you expect me to copy and paste? since our topic is about the bible. I quoted from the Bible with supportive Bible text.
Nakasabot ba lage ka ana imong mga gipang copy and paste ? I am not talking about why you are copy and pasting. I am talking about what you are copy and pasting unless I would not be amazed again that it is nothing but an interpretation again on a personal level or accompanied with an agenda meant not to reconcile because it is out of protest.

i am for it bro. Mao sad ni nindot masabtan unta sa atong mga ka kristohanon ba (catholics, protestants, etc.) duna man jud mga teachings nga nag differ ta, okay raman i discuss basta need lang sad sagulan ug love and respect. Even the Lord Jesus showed the good example of showing compassion with others.

As what I've learned from one of my favorite speaker nga proverbs:
"YOU CANNOT CUT A PERSON'S NOSE AND GIVE HIM A ROSE TO SMELL."

If you mean the Lord Jesus Christ, for us Christians YES. If youre a non-christian then you can share sad sa imohang truth. From it, we can discuss.

nice one brad, same as you cannot expect a person to be saved when you've already condemned him..
kay sometimes tungod sa ka ganahan nato mu express sa tong faith..ang tao nga ato gisultihan
kay instead ma enlightened/evangelized kay musamot ug ka discouraged...

Well, I am a Christian and I believe GOD above all, even though He will give me a crappy life but anyways, I'm actually not a practicing Christian, I rarely go to church (maybe on birthdays or some occasion). I always pray wherever I am, because I believe GOD is around us and he can hear wherever we are. I always have faith, that everything happens for a reason.
