What is the difference Between Prayer and Wish?

i agree sir, naa man gud koy amigo na nakig lalis ani na butang, mo insist gyud cya na same ra ang duha.. iyaha sad to bsta mo ni stick gyud ko ani na opinion..

Prayer is when you talk to God (whoever or whatever your God is - respect each other lang ta).
It is not limited to supplication (asking God for what you want/need).
You can also thank Him, praise Him, etc., when you pray. (example: Lord, thank you sa hangin..Kung walay hangin, patay na mi tanan)

Wish is when you want or need something and you wish for it to be yours.
Include your wishes in your prayer to make it achievable.

we can not differentiate the two when there is no definitions to base with.

when you define prayer as asking, requesting, petition and the likes, then it is more or less the same as a wish.

but when you include "just communicating" or simply communicating, talking, confessing, giving thanks, to the definition of prayer, then they are very different because the form of prayer varies while the form of wish does not.

for me there is a huge difference. My wishes are just my own desires spoken usually only to myself. pero ang Prayer ky dala naman tanan sa pag ask for forgiveness,ask for blessings,ask something while praising god
