Speaking of Angra! Great band as well...I only have two CD's, "Rebirth" and "Holy Land".

epic prog metal greatness!! best album to start with for proggers. i love their song "Evolution", sounds like a lower and darker version of "Sea of Lies" from Divine Wings of Tragedy album. ^^

I feel the same way too, dude. I used to have a band that used to play songs from Dream Theater, Queensryche, Mr. Big and Extreme. The audience would just look at us with blank stares and open mouths as if they didn't understand a thing. Through the years of being in a band, making and playing music, I learned that Cebu is such a small place and the market in music is so limited.

Symphony X is good -- up to the point of being so avante-garde sounding. Mike Romeo is a very exceptional guitarist.

But when I started listening to Angra, I said, "these guys kicks serious a$$ even more!" Their two guitar players are just so damn good they sound like Nuno Bettencourt and Paul Gilbert playing in one band.

i bet ur singing to the tune of "Carry on" or "Nova Era" right now...lol

hands down not only to both Angra's guitarist but also to Achilles Priester the drummer who really has his own style and of course the vox of Angra, Edu Falaschi, one of the best vox i've heard
