EXACTLY! If horn upgrades are tightly regulated and even to the point of being prohibited, and they only make noise as long as you press your horn switch, what more are the pain painstakingly loud mufflers?

You were smart enough to counter that part but didn't thought of what my point was. And now you ended up being a con in my staging of my point. Thanks.

I'm sure kadungog nka anang term nga "TREND" ug sa ato pa "USO." When the loud horns/blow horns came out to be, everyone who wants one, got one. As the trend blew out, people with the same sentiments as you have now against mufflers came forward. I assume they made someone from somewhere in a high stool in the government listen to their cries. With reason and logic and pleas, their cries were heard. Hence the prohibition for loud horns now.

Now, as what you may have noticed, the "TREND" for mufflers began very recently. Everybody who wants one can get one. As the trend blew out, people with sentiments against mufflers began to voice out their pains. ONLY THAT THEIR VOICING OUTS ARE IN THE MANNER OF VIGILANTISM AND THREATS TO LIFE AND PROPERTY. Which is understandable considering how technology has devolved socializing and people relations to whiny little crybabies who refuses to listen to reason and challenges any and every thought from the opposite side of the equation with empty threats for refusing to follow their whims BECAUSE THEY DON'T FEAR THE CONSEQUENCE.

This, people, is but a fad. It is a trend. It will fade or you can make it fade. Nagging about it here, won't.

responsible ownership and proper implementation of rules ang kailangan ani. sa pag-kuha nalang sa license naa man seminar about being a responsible motorist and i think naa apil sa being courteous ang not revving your engine to much as to create a disturbance sa surroundings. that applies to all motorist dili lang sa mga 2-wheel but i think more pa gani sa 4 wheels and up kay mas-dako ang engine = mas-saba. ako naka-kita naman ko og solusyon anang mga sabaan nga motor sa amoa karon (dili sauna kay BAD toh.. wahehehehe...) ma-sturyaan rajud. right outside my window are about 20 motorcycles since they are collectors of a lending agency. what i did was gi-sturyaan ang drivers pag-una. since wala man kaayo na-usab gi-sturyaan ang ila manager. problem solved. wala nila gi-tang2 ilang mga mod nga tambutso but they dont rev it excessively nah. masturyaan ra. kung dili madala sturya then report to authorities. kung dili na madala kay I-ampo nalang jud na nimo. ^_^ nya imo dayon i-below zero para bugnaw imo ulo. wehehehe

TS, i hope this goes to everyone. Not only motorcycles are using after market mufflers even cars,jeepneys, etc. I hope dakupon na nila tanan kay what i noticed when i drive my car dli kaau ta daug daugon pero when i ride my MC hahayz hasta private vehicles ubos kaau tan aw nato. Ayaw ninyo kalimti ang mga superbike og race cars ok dakop niya ha kay for sure they use high performance parts. Kay ang mga dagkong tae naa sad silay ilaha ana. maypa unahon ninyo ang smoke belching makatabang pamo...

I gues the TS is trying to appeal directly to the people who are actually involved hoping to make a difference.. Pero sa akong nabasa, daghan ang wala mo simpatya sa cause.. I think that the message of the TS is very clear and very easy to comprehend.. I made my share of opinion about the matter ug dli na nko pa i exaggerate para dli ma misunderstand...

Appealing is one thing. Threatening is another. And they don't mix well together in a thought. From the onset of this thread, when the TS (and you) tossed threats, you can expect a fairly healthy mix of sensible thoughts and unreasonable backlash from those of us who the threats were directed to. Making a claim about how you were "just kidding" and "exaggerating" halfway through the heated discussion may come futile.

Might be best to "appeal" in the true definition of the word next time than "threaten now and appeal later" when your joyride gets a bit rough.

Di ra noise pollution. Kana sang mga HID na headlights. Ngano kailangan man jud ihigh na ma libat imong kasugat? Di man ni pwede sa ato kai hayag man. Kung gusto man gani mo mag high2x, adto mog Baguio nya ipa siga didto sa balete.

I never said I was kidding.. If my examples are exaggerated at first but it was to amplify gravity.. I was never kidding about this topic because this is more life threatening than a post about "shoot to kill"...

I respect the reasons of the other posters that owned a loud muffler as few have stated it is to make pedestrians aware that they are coming but that doesn't mean I agree with their methods.. I can and I have avoided that for 5 years now without a loud muffler. I was riding an underbone too when I had my first motorcycle. Mada ra ug maghinay lng dli sige sirit2x padagan murag nagdali pirmi unya inig abot sa unahan mag abot ra ghapon sa nag maintain rag speed kay naay daghan stoplights..

ug ako ichange akong tono or approach in my posts it is because I acknowledge the other posters opinions about it but my message and principle remains the same..
