    Hi,

I've never been there, but I'm planning a 6D/5N Palawan trip with my friends this January 2013. We're only visiting El Nido and PPS since we'll only have 6 days. I've done a little research here and there so here's our plan...We'll be doing the Taraw cliff climbing and island hopping tours A and C in El Nido; tour A with a kayak since that's the best way to explore the small lagoon. In PPS, we'll do the Underground River tour with Pasyar. Pasyar's costs more than the mainstream UR tour, but it includes a mangrove paddle tour and ugong rock spelunking...so it'll be worth it. We're also planning to rent a tricycle for a day and tour PPS city.

I'm told that you can do a combination island hopping tour in El Nido, so definitely inquire about it. We may do Tour A and B all in one day if we find a tour operator that does it.

One of my friends has been to Coron and she said it's one of the best places in pinas. From what I've read in blogs, it has one of the best wreck diving. So definitely visit Coron if you have the time. =)

EDIT: For accommodations, we'll either stay in Marina Garden or Hadefe Cottages in El Nido and in Tres Pension or Purple Fountain in PPS.

To TS....i've been to those places that you've mentioned....i dont think its a wise decision to cover all those trips in just one vacation trip.....ang ma suggest nako kay stay in Puerto for 4D/3 nights ( and take all the tour packages nga gi offer like: City Tour, UnderGround River Tour,Island-Hopping) then side trip mo sa El-Nido and stay there overnight or two nights.....

Going to ElNido wil take you about 5-7 hours....meaning mahurot imong usa ka adlaw sa byahi palang.....wala pod koy nahibaw-an nga transfer going to Coron from Puerto....so dili feasible imong plano sir/madam

mas nindot mo byahi mo naka arrange na inyong accommodations and Tours ninyo para smooth na inyong byahi og dili mo magsegi og pangita asa mo paingon nya less stress meaning enjoy ninyo inyong vacation...hee hee....

There have been great suggestions in this thread so far... about your sched. considering that you only have 8 days to spend in Palawan, I have to agree with SsprinterT , you don't have to cover all these places in one trip, or perhaps its next to impossible? Coz if you do so, you may end up wasting most of your precious time on the road or traveling around Palawan. Puerto Princesa and El NIDO itself has so much to offer which you can enjoy... Divide your time wisely and wala rajud problem with the activities.

To give you an idea, here are the things you can possibly do:

Puerto Princesa - city tour (visiting to top tourist spots in the city) usually takes half-one day, underground river tour, Ugong rock climbing, food trip (lots of amazing restaurants and foods), mangrove paddle boat.

El Nido - 6-7 hours traveling from Puerto to El Nido... Take the Island hopping tours (one tour takes a whole day) you can take tour A-C if you want.. then rock climbing, kayaking at lagoons...

About the tours, I could suggest DIY sa uban tours but there are resorts/accommodation who are willing to arrange everything for you...

Most of all, Enjoy your upcoming Trip!

This are the some activities puerto princesa offer to its tourist " The City Tour ,Underground River Tour[/URL] and the Honda Bay Island Hopping where you can go to some islands of Palawan. If you want to go to El NIdo then you need a lot of time coz as SsprinterT the travel time will consume your stay.

You can do Coron and El Nido at the same time, but it won't be cheap. Since naa naman Montenegro fastcraft to and from El Nido (fare 1750 travel time 4 hours), mas sayon nalang i-travel. 4 days in El Nido and 4 days in Coron seems doable, but that meens having to take a connecting flight from Busuanga-Manila-Cebu.

hmmmm about the public transpo from PP to El nido, actually there is. There's a bus from San Jose Terminal Puerto Princesa - El NIdo (Sweety bus to mention one) but I believe last trip nila is 8:30 am. Taking public transpo is not advisable labi na if nay bata coz the travel will take 7-8 hours, fare is around 500 pesos. Road from Roxas to El nido takes 2 hours kay rough road xa, then kapoy nanas mga bata for sure. Actually doable rman if nay mga bata from Puerto princes to El nido, kapoy lang jud and not really advisable... Okay rah siguro public/private van (i suggest to book in advance with fortwally since they can pick you up from airport jud). Most public vans kay naa sa San jose terminal and the terminal is 20 mins. tricycle travel from the airport.
