I'm Pro Bashar al-Assad mainly because I don't agree with NATO supporting the government who'd replace his even if they're after Iran. If they want to protect Israel then that's fine but they don't have to topple those secular regimes and replace it with hardline Islamic republics which they'll have to deal later on.
al-Assad has been known to be a thug since even before he got the presidency from his father. It is indeed true that the insurgents and major news outlets (Arab and Western) in Syria are fabricating videos and accounts of government human rights violation, but to say al-Assad's troops are not guilty of its extra-judicial killings would be false. The Arab Spring utilized social networking and everything with it to its full extent. It amplified everything.
