Sinning is receiving the consequences of it but with genuine repentance you can be forgiven but you will need to learn the hard lesson from it.

this might give us an idea on how salvation works...

some actually asked if what happens if a person repents at the brink of his death and accepts God as His Lord and savior even if that person led an awful life would that person be saved?
my answer is yes, provided that the repentance is genuine and the person firmly believes and asked for forgiveness.but i think what we should ponder on is that we do not really know the time of our death and even so if we feel that we are dying, are we repenting and accepting Christ just because we are dying?or we repent and accept Him 'cause of faith...

i think we should take care of the salvation that Christ has given to us..
say i'm a very devout Christian but suddenly stopped believing due to some reasons...
frustration maybe or perhaps an unanswered prayer or things bad things that happened despite of being a Christian...it's like being married to someone,has been faithful for so many years then committed adultery..
so still it would end up to separation...

i think Jesus' parable clearly describes salvation...
where people came to work and started from different times but ends at exactly the same time..
and being promised for the same amount of wage.
some of the workers or even real people might think it is unfair, why the workers who worked late should get the same wage with the workers who started early...i think that just explains that it doesnt really matter when you repent and accept Christ as long as you do it out of faith..and like i said earlier, we have to take care of that faith..so recieve the reward/wage of salvation...once you have the faith, work hard in guarding/keeping the faith until the time of your death..so that you will get the reward of salvation..'cause the workers could just decided to stop working and left...hence no reward will be given...some people think it's unfair..that's where the first shall be the last, and the last shall be the first comes in..where people who came to know Christ earlier should start working for the kingdom for God's glory and for the salvation of those who doesn't know Christ yet.'cause as a Christian we have been commissioned by Christ Jesus, to make disciples of all nation baptizing in His name..which is telling the story of Jesus that salvation may come to their home.,and guys i'm not saying that our brothers and sisters of other faith will not be saved...that is something that i just cannot answer..but as a Christian i will do my duties in telling the story of Jesus..to Love God above all, and to love our neighbors as i love myself that includes respecting their faith..
