Problem w/ my CD rom: the LED stays lighted

mga bro, ask ko sa inyo help. i have problems with my cdrom. it's LED indicator sige lng ug siga bisan ug wala nag-read or bisan walay Cd sa sulod.
not only that, when my computer starts, dugay kaau kasulod sa Windows if connected ang ako cdrom. What seems to be the problem here and
what will i do?

try daw removing the cables sa likod and boot your pc. Then shutdown the OS and taud balik sa mga cables sa likod then boot it up again. Tarunga lang ug taud sa wires sa likod.

Observe lang sa iya behavior kung dugay ba ghpon siya nisulod. Then try opening cdrom pagboot. Kana bitaw murag mo-butang ka og CD but ayaw i-close, then boot up.

i've done that bro many times already. i think it is my cd rom that has a problem.

if butang ka cd dli mu spin? try cleaning the head and lubricating the lens carrier mechanism. then put move the carrier outermost to the tray.
