Ayaw sa pag update sa 5.1.1 para sa katong nag rely pa sa gevey sim to unlock their phones kay ma update pud ang baseband..

you can preserve your baseband with redsnow 0.9.11b4 then do a tether jailbreak and untether it afterwards with rocky racoon in cydia..you can still use your gevey with that..

Before nako gijailbreak akong itouch, [take note itouch ni.] giupdate nako ang OS in iTunes from 5.0 to 5.1.1 (9B206). So i don't know where ka anang 5.1.19 brad..

when jailbreaking an iphone, automatic ba ma unlock ang phone?

never owned an iphone before but i'm expecting 2 iphone4 hand-me-down units from the US

kay if dili sya ma network unlock upon jailbreak, dili nalang nako ipadala. murag mas hassle ug gasto man gud if ipa unlock pa nako ang mga units.

jailbreaking is different from unlocking.. some unlock rely on jailbreak like ultrasnow.. you can also use gevey to unlock but naa ra certain basebands ma unlock niya...

before nimo ipadala, u better ask kung unsa na ios version and baseband para makahibaw ka kung pwede ba m.unlock if you want to be sure na dili masayang ang pagpadala..

Yep, this is what I did. I found out about it a few hours after the initial release sa untethered JB sa 5.1.1.
