Yes apple has license the latter and is too expensive to roll out soon.

When might these new macbooks be announced? This june or september maybe? I'm also waiting for the new iPhone 5, which they rumored will support macbook's liquidmetal technology. Pretty cool imo. But I guess it'll be another 6mos. until a factory unlocked iP5 gets reasonably priced here.

Just read article on possible release , and it is saying June 11. There is so much interest in the new Macbook pro that its creating sort of the same buzz as the iphone and ipads. This comes with the new redesign and cool tech going into it , the last redesign was around 2008 but subtle changes were done. 2012, will be interesting .... Think , Ivy, Retina display, case redesign, Usb 3.0, SSD and that's just for starters

I'm planning to buy macbook pro but wondering will the new MacBook pro
will not slow while I'm developing. And if so, how will I make it fast? ^_^

With the new Chip , you maybe able too , but I suggest doing your homework too ie compatibility , platform etc...


On to the latest , known retailers abroad have been dropping prices on stocks in store , normally a sign new stocks are coming to fill the shelves , anytime now .... hehe

june/july would be the most strategic time to release the new macbook pro/air.. or either those 3quarter months,the pro or the air. kai they wouldnt want it getting in the way for the ipod/iphone sales, come septmbr/october..

hmmm does this mean the old versions will go low price? and how low will it go? i've got the latest mac mini but i like to have the mac portable once. ^_^
