He was born of a Virgin Mother. He cannot be called a son of God just because he was born of a Virgin Mother, for if that’s what we will categorize him; Adam is more worthy to be called a son of God because he was born without a mother and a father. So, Islam eliminated that concept by declaring that “God begetteth not nor is He begotten” (Qur’an 114:3).
