I lost a cousin to senseless violence as well, and it hurts so much. I hope Ryan's family stays strong apart from all this. You'll be in my prayers, Ryan. I don't know him personally, but I feel for his family and loved ones.

I am not condoning violence here, if that is what you're driving at.

My point is that if "Benz" was trying to tell the truth about the whole thing then some things shouldn't be left out, especially when it was what sparked the whole incident.

I've been in these types of incidents in the past. Mag-inom mo sa public places with your barkada in one table, then somehow trouble would start from some very mundane reason like a misplaced eye (nagtan-aw ka sa taw pero actually naa lang ka gihuna-huna) or you recognize someone pero you can't really recall where you met him (this will lead you to keep looking at the guy para lang mahinumduman nimo). This irritates the guy you are "staring" at so he confronts you. Next thing, mamarug sad ang iyang mga kauban. Kami sad on our part, mamarug sad mi. Alangan na man gilibutan na inyong table maglingkod ra sad mo, di ba? At that point, gamay nalang bikil, a word misheard or nakusog lang pagsulti gamay, rumble na gyud to... pero cooler heads would prevail. Istoryahon unsay problema... Sayon ra kaayo sudlon ang away -- ang paggawas ang lisud.

Now, what more if it's a smoking hot chick? What did they do/say to her that made her freak out? If wala ra or accidental then that could have been easily explained and the incident would de-escalate... But whatever it was made the girl uneasy to the point na misumbong sa iyang partner... I can imagine myself getting really pissed if akong kauban ingon anaon (whatever it was) by some dudes I don't know drinking in the other table. Ikaw? Can you just stand there while your friend/GF/mate is under duress?

I know how me and my barkadas behave kung mahubog na mi... Unsa man sad ang style nila Benz kung mahubog? See I'm not really blaming anyone here. I don't know the whole story kay wa man ko didto. To me lang, that article seems to be missing a key point and yet tries to evoke sympathy from the readers.

And I agree that this person, this shooter, whoever he is or whomever General or politician he is connected/related to should be brought to justice.
