Default Cheap electricity in Mindanao over

Unsay opinion ninyo ani mga istoryans? Personally uyon ko ani kay the power problem in Mindanao has been there for the past 30 years if I remember it correctly so I guess it's just about time to make a change jud... The President do have honest and blunt points og ang mga politiko pud sa Mindanao dili uyon for reasons that I can't fathom... Maybe personal political interests or whatever...

"Power situation in Mindanao was akin to that of a business entity that, if it wants to make a profit, has to compete in the market and has to be the most efficient"

“Those efficiencies redound to our benefit. But if we keep on not attending to competitiveness or building that competitive market, then we will have the same situation"

"Consumers in Mindanao will have to pay more “because this is the reality of economics, not the rhetoric of politics"

“Everything has its price. You have to pay a real price for a real service"

For me, at least he's doing something... Anybody knows who owns the Coal and Gas Power Plants in Visayas and Luzon islands? I doubt if it is 100% government-owned... And besides, mahal man jud jutay ang power rates sa Visayas and Luzon tungod kay dili lang hydro ang sources... Sa Mindanao mao barato kay majority gikan sa hydro, which is not totally reliable and efficient... Pun-an pa sa mga bulay-og nga nagpa dagan sa planta... Aw mao jud na ang resulta...

Ang dapat ani, build more hydro power plants and geothermal plants... Mindanao still have many mountain rivers na pde himuan ug Hydro plants, ug daghan pa pde butangan ug geothermal plants, privatization sa Napocor kay dili na solusyon, cge nalang noon na sila ug pataas ug presyo sa kuryente kung ma privatize.... kay kung privatized na ang Napocor, ang ila himuon na power plants kay kanang coal fired, kay mao mana pinaka barato...

nindut na bro, ang problema, way kwarta ang gobyerno... kay saon taman nahurot nag kurakot... so the way i see it, practical si Pnoy... let the private investor do it instead... pero wah may gusto tawn mo invest sa mindanao oi, given the image and security concerns... sayang jud, sayang...

ang geothermal, dili kaayo na nindut nga option kay dili na siya inana efficient... gamay ra ang power output for a vast power plant structure... gas ang coal jud ang pinaka practical in tandem with the existing hyrdo's... ipang upgrade lang jud na ang mga existing hyrdro's sad kay panahon pa na sa mga karaang taw gipang tukod...

The message was simple, not sugar-coated and direct to the point (which is good). It was just expressed in a bitter way as per our moral standards mga pinoy. Investing to alternative power sources should be the way. If the gov't won' do it, then anybody has freedom to do it ourselves. It may look nga pabug-at sa mga katawhan at first but sad to say inana jud na siya... Nagkamahal og nagka taas jud tanan...

Hayyy ambot... If they don't want to support it then they should give something better to the table right now dili kay puro batikos og puro lalis... Hayy nalang jud... Political career man gud una tanawon ba kanunay gi ahak...

Sus gi privatize man nuon, gi samutan pa sa Oil Deregulation law - Patay
