ning drop by ko sa akoang amigo ganiha on the way home basin naa sya used PATA HDD for the experiment on the PATA to SATA converter. sus, naka kita man hinoon ko ug Pentium D 925 na processor... ganahan ko na ma set-up then ma testingan ang HTPC... na spank hinoon nko ang processor... hehehe... pag abot sa balay, aw, kiat dayon ang dagway... share ko pics gamay ha... oldies set-up... go go go... pardon sa nag kiat na mga wires...

screen capture details of the HTPC... forget the GPU's performance in games (the rig is not intended for it) but for a full HD movie rig (its main purpose), its a bang for the money... ang Asus EAH5450 HM512M DDR3 kay ang actual vram nya (onboard) kay 256 DDR3 lang... pero, expandable to 512 MB through the system memory (sharing)... mao ni ang technology na gigamit atoang nag post dri sauna na dili pareho ang mem size na makita nya sa GPU info... then nag ingon ko na i-check ang box sa GPU kun naa bay gibutang na "HM" (HyperMemory for AMD) then "TC" (TurboCache for Nvidia)... tanaw ko ug full HD movies dri at 1080P, pyts kaayo ang performance sa ning oldy HTPC rig na akoang gi build... 25 ~ 30% max ang CPU utilization using VLC on the full HD movies (wala'y lag)... not bad for a low cost GPU... hehehe...

akoa rang gi gamit ang CD drivers na dala nya bro... ok ra sya full HD movies. mag update ko sa drivers unya... thanks

akoang gi monitor ang CPU usage sa full HD movies, mo patak sya ug 25 to 30 % max on the CPU usage... average sya ug less than 15%... pyts ra ni... akoang HD3650 sa MoDT kay mo patak ug 100% CPU utilization in running full HD movies... hehehe... pero ang average nya kay 40%...

nangigil ko ug upgrade sa MoDT (torrent PC) nako ron... gasto nasad... tsk tsk tsk

thanks bro... had posted the newly acquired components and accessory on that thread... akoa lang ning gi update ang thread na akoang na start-tan pud...

last na ni na update kay wla nama'y paliton para sa HTPC other than the 42" TV/PC monitor... dugay pa pud to kay inig uli pa to nako during vacation... dili na ni ma update once maabot to na time... if ever, mag update ko, ad2 na sa Show us Your Rig thread kay complete naman sya...
