What I meant is preferably more confidential and private than the punishment given na dili kapaso. Maayo unta ug gihimo na lang na sila janitors the entire summer before i-release ang transcripts, because once dili na ipapaso, of course, your classmates and even other students from the lower batches are guaranteed to know of the incident, even if not published in the news pa.

Actually based ra sad na sa ako nabasahan diri and the news. Kung parent ko, I won't really know the implication kung unsa na ka important ang conduct grade, basta maka graduate. Mao siguro to nga ni agree ang parents. But the STC Admin should know which colleges will not accept certain grades, having run the school for so many years. So of course mo complain gyud ang parents kung, abi nako nga nakapasar sa entrance exam akong anak sa so-and-so university, unya karon di na hinuon sila ka study there because of this incident. Very big consequence sad sa future sa students, di ba? For me as a parent, medyo dako ra pud implications. For what has been done, wa man sad siguro mag expect nga 100 recitations of Hail Marys, ok na.

Finally a decision that has restored some faith for me in the Philippine court system. A well-deserved victory for an unfair and, as Judge Navarro so eloquently put it, "un-Christian" act by the school in question. Let's hope that in the future more consideration is taken to show the type of forgiveness and compassion that I associate with the Christian faith, rather than using it as a shield to dole out self-righteous and unnecessary punishment to minors whose mistakes, and the consequences of them, should have rested on the parents shoulders....article below:Philippine girls win reprieve over Facebook bikini pics - Latest news around the world and developments close to home - MSN Philippines News

This judge perhaps lacks faith in this case, if he has strong conviction for this that atty. balili was wrong, why did he voluntarily inhibit himself then? Why can't he defend till the end that the TRO doesn't have anything erroneous? Instead of mocking the school's legal counsel, he better save face and his soul from all these!
From what i know its still on preliminary session i doubt they already raffle the case, i dont think the justice system is that fast here . Im not a practicing lawyer nor well educated in legal matters, that TRO same as warrant of arrest can be issue by any member of RTC as long as they meet the requirements. So if Im the parents or their lawyer whom should i ask for a TRO? of course to those who are sympathetic to our cause. Im not ruining judge Navarro reputation cause its evident man pud ang iyang biases and now he is leaving this matter and face saving mode na ni siya without even filing contempt nor disbarment on STC and their lawyer.

    ****

No need to lecture me of court proceedings regarding the cash bond. The question im asking why setting the cash bond to 0, the judge ruling said that the STC doesnt need to spend money for the graduation of the misbehaving girls but does the judge telling also STC to taint their reputation and go against the rules and regulation by allowing these girls to attend graduation rites when the rightful punishment should had been expulsion. You cant buy reputation nor principle setting the cash bond to 0 or for FREE thats an insult to the school. For my sole discretion I would ask them to pay a cash bond of 1M or at least 100K pesos. Its really convenient for the parents cause the next day graduation rite na sa ilang kids. Now you cant blame people when they perceive bias ang judge.

the pics from the beach are i think tolerable but their pictures from a bar with the girls sitting on the boys lap looking wild is really not tolerable. mga badlongon jud daw ni sila and ilado sa stc, one of the girls is even the daughter of a cebu city councilor. stc is a private school, its not a right but a privilege to study in a private school. if you want to have full access of your rights, then go to a public school. and also if they want their privacy, why on earth the girls put their pics proudly on facebook hehe. kibaw ka mga ingon ani nga edad ang mga bati ug dili maayong binuhatan, epanghambug hehe. im on stc's side on this.

i just hope the girls will learn from what happened and would do anything to make it up for this totally bad experience by becoming the most successful in their batch.

Wow...I'm glad you weren't the headmaster of my school. I know that religious schools often pride themselves on holding their students to a "higher moral standard", but I would hope that like unlike a dictatorship, the school would offer the hearings required before making such a harsh ruling. I guess we should all be fortunate that the high and mighty, morally-superior sisters and men of the cloth never make mistakes.... :/

That's a really outdated news article, and it left a lot of details out from what actually happened, especially what warranted the school to impose such sanctions. If you look around for a bit, you'd find that the 'Christian Faith' or christian bias had absolutely nothing to do with how the school went about those sanctions.

Actually expulsion man ta di ba? Tapos gihimo na lang C ang grade, tapos the girls can't attend 3 school/student activities. Nagkataon lang na they are of the graduating class and it was on February 2012 that the pictures were reported so naigo non sa activities for graduation.

If these girls weren't seniors, I think expulsion na jud ta to no?

Himoong janitors? sa school? Community service? Does it really work? Kung public place or toilets pwede siguro but that's more disgusting and damaging, right?

    You want glimpse of it?
Its a public document, right? Are you allowed to post it on an open forum? Or do you need the judge's consent and the court's consent and the accusers' consent and the defendant's consent for it to be publish or be posted on an open forum such as istorya.net?

i think the gravity of the violated rule has to be considered.. kanang pa limpyuhon.. there are janitors.. and dili jud n ana ka hugaw ang skul.. and the sanctions is stated in the handbook.. klaru kaayo wala man na gbuhat buhat lang.. sa handbook naa ang rule and if ma violate, unsa pud ang consequence..
