We have different definition of lewd. For the nuns of STC, wearing a two piece bikini is lewd. That's it.

I think the school gave the parents and the student enough time to respond to the letter because the letter was given to her on
March 1 -- That is 29 days before the graduation ceremony. Sunstar related "The doctor said her daughter was surprised when
SHE RECEIVED on MARCH 1 what she called a "harsh sanction." But, counsel for the parents argued that they were not given
due time to explain their side.

In my point of view, the student kept her parents in the dark regarding the letter for some time, and she did not divulged it a couple of days before her graduation day.

The root of the problem is the girl who posted the picture. In the first place, she lies to her parents about the letter & the picture.

Simple analogy about the incident...

anyhoo like what other people had said there is always 2 sides to every story.
in my opinion who can decide if the photo taken constitutes of being "lewd"? this incident is already firing up in the social media and the internet. the school should be prepared for an az& whooping as the news progress.

I am afraid that in both the state and the church there seems to be a pattern of double standard.
