i'm also a fan of the azkals brah.. but honestly i don't think we have to idolize them the way some are.. they haven't done anything that significant yet,.. we don't have to buy the shampoos they are all using.. what bothers me is that how they play everytime they go out on a game seems like they're having a photoshoot.. mas gipalabi pa ang posing kaysa score.. tsk tsk.. anyway that's just my idea brah... maybe they need some growing up to do.. no offence to all the azkal fans though i myself follow their games every now and then..

The Azkals isn't necessarily bad for Philippine football, pero I'll be waiting for a team that is "Filipino" to the strictest sense of the word. Meaning, home grown and raised. With only one or two players who fall under the Jus sanguinis acquisition of citizenship.

i may sound too ambitious but i would love to see the philippines competing in fifa world cup, the biggest single-event sporting competition in the world.. hopefully in my lifetime..

by the way, the government didnt spend too much in this team but the sponsors did..

being a fan, please enlighten us as to how much these imported azcals players are getting from the government. Feel free to list them. Are they getting higher compared to the one from iloilo because they grew up outside the Philippines? iWonder. Let's see if they are here for the money or if they really have the passion to play for the Philippines (MIND YOU GUYS, REPRESENTING A NATIONAL TEAM DOESNT ENTITLE YOU TO SALARIES THAT CAN FEED YOUR FAMILY).

having filipino blood doesnt mean you are filipino. just as a bag with an LV tag is just made in china. If they are truly filipino, act like one.

YOU DONT GET ANYTHING BIG for representing the flag. except na lang if the govt gives a prize for a feat after the tournament. and why ask me how much they are getting?? they only have allowances. what the local players are getting (allowance) is what the fil-foreigners are also getting.

if it's not because of the fil fors, the team cannot achieve what they have achieved right now.. we already have our national team way back but asa ra man sila kutob? in our stage, we really need the skills of these players.. in order for us to have homegrown talents in football, it should programs for the grassroots level should be strengthen.. hopefully time will come, we no longer need to scout for players abroad.. peru as of now, dako ang gicontribute sa azkals para mapukaw ang interest sa mga bata pagduwa ug football.. that's it..
