Just wondering, if for example mupalit tag F-16's nya for example mu trespass ang China with their new Fighter Jets, makaya ra kaha natu defend atung airspace? assuming same number sa Aircraft ha.

if karon jud na mahitabo then bag-o pa atong f-16's? i think not. fighter pilots needs extensive training and experience before they are made combat ready. makapalupad sila ug plane, easy ra na, but to do dog fight with existing chinese air power, lupig ta, even f-16 pa.
j10 is still in testing phase. maybe its safe to assume na gigamit na nila ang su-33m, kay it was completed in 2010, with russia's help. the aim of su-33m is to counter an f-22 raptor.
Su 27 gane ila pirmi ginagamit pag mag ronda sila sa ila mga borders... and their J10 is now ready for combat when time comes na magkagubot sila sa ubang nasud.

Those planes are based in Hainan Island, it can fly to Manila and drop bombs then return back without aerial refueling.
J20 wont fly anytime soon. Still more on a demonstrator than an prototype. Daghan pag problema.
To close the gap they're eying Su35.
