George Lucas even admits parts of Star Wars was inspired by John Carter, like desert Moon Tatooine, swordfights, Princess Leia in a bikini, and many more. Only goes to show you know nothing about the story and know nothing about the science fiction genre. lol. just relax. he came to the moviehouse to enjoy. he didn't see the movie as you would see it.

i personally want to see the movie considering the fact that it is in its context a major influence to other sikat scifi movies.

it would be very nice to see how much influence did john carter had with star wars et al.
