Yellow tints on iphone4s screen.

Both globe and istore don't know what's causing this problem and told me that they're not sure if I'll get the right tint of screen upon receiving the replacement iphone if ako ipa replace. 4 weeks pa jud ang replacement nya d pa jud sure.

ako g check ilang display which dont have this yellow tint and they're aware of it. ilang mga 4s pud ky lahi2 pud daw ang tint. I'm really bothered bout this. my iphone4 is clearer compared to my 4s.

Who has this kind of problem?

actually bro common na even sa ip4..2 kinds of tints na ang yellowish og bluish,ang yellowish maoy noticeable kau,sa lcd gyud na bro,n othr cases ang camera lens sad ang naay tints proven ni ky when i took a pct frm my ip4 and naa cyay yellowish and sumtimes reddish 2t it was just my lcd,bt ako gi view sa amo pc naa man ghapn so i cnclude sa lens gyud..mao nay blema sa ubn iphones bro tyming2x rana,bt f u cud make it rplaced mas maau..

By doing a little google search it shows that a lot of people are reporting this issue, I havent really found out if this is the color temperature apple wanted but you can either have it replaced until you get one with out a yellow tint or use cydia and change the color temperature. I dont own an IP4 or IP4S but this was the very first thing I noticed when I saw the IP4S on display.

Different issues, the yellow tint on the Galaxy S2 and Tab7.7 is just a portion of the screen which is defective by manufacturing.

The yellow tint on the IP4S is the choice of color temperature which can be changed if you install Cydia.

Manufacturing defect != Manufacturer's choice of color temperature.

nag buy mi ug 4 ip4s 2 whites and 2 ka black. ang 3 ka ip4s kay yellowish color ang usa ka black maoy bluish. at first medyo nag worry ko kay basin defect pero my friend told me nga ang latest calibration daw sa ip4s screen run kay medyo yellowish daw i dunno if its true. so wala na kaau ko nag worry. nag install sad kog color profile sa cydia which is free para ma change nku ang color temperature pero ako ra sad gi uninstall ug gi balik naku sa orig color temp. naanad raman sad ko ga lantaw sa ako screen. hehehe

Forums on the web and other sources say that its the glue that didn't settle properly. I've compared the 2 new ip4s I got from globe and my old ip4. The 2 ip4s has different tints, ang 1 ky mas yellow nya ang usa medyo hayag2 but d jud pariha. the 3 phones have different tints. If the yellow tint is normal same ra unta ang tanan nga ip4s so I think sa quality control pa lng sa product wala na.

Cydia only adjusts the color temperature on the screen, not photos taken.

I believe the glue issue was on the IP4 lang and it usually form a circular spot, a lot of people confuse 'normal' with 'common' when it comes to these kinds of issues. Quality control issues pud ni, some argue that the difference in color temperature is caused by different suppliers for the IPS display, dili bya LG ra ang ilang screen supplier.
