wala ko kaabot atong mga 1980's nga mga banda para nako payter siguro to sauna... pero mas payter siguro karon...

i remember one time it was in country mall a band concert. when a band played a cover song from "Live", the crowd went so wild that the file of speaker fell into the ground... that really was a rock conzert for me.

The "discard the old, in with the new" folks would prefer the newest music, while the "remember the good old days?" folks would still prefer the old and the classics. It's pretty much like that. meh

One thing to note though (although I could be wrong), the old cebu music scene was 10x smaller than what we see today. So, maybe that's another reason why original songs are scarce. Oh, and everybody was listening to Michael Jackson.

hinuon, mas "pop" ang sound sa una... that's why mas daghan naka-appreciate... karon, everybody wants to be different, although it's not a bad thing.....

CEBU MUSIC FACTORY (i.e juelz drummer of A2Z and ledger line, tenggoy of 40 the band, jujun of BTU/singer Coat of Love and With YOu, Onyot of the End, Alvin of the Monks/now SRO,Jikker of Ledger Line and many more)They played for SMB Gig on a several occasion singing their orig composition (Coat of LOve, Baleleng, What i say etc) You must have missed that...It was a Blast!!!
