Chkdsk or any other software will not fix bad sectors, it may fix bad file records and save your file(s). If guba na jud ang part sa imong disk platter, then it's dead.

Agree ko ani, from my experience, ang HDD Regenerator temporarily halts hard disk health from further decline so you will have a bigger time to save your files

temporary ra diay? hasta sd ang seagate seatools? naka try ko seatools una nako pa run kay naay error then ni prompt msg nga repair, ako gi click then next ug check kay wa nay error... temporary ra ghapon to? so naa posibilidad nga mo corrupt ug balik? unsa sd ika advice ani? palit lain hdd ky bcn madayon ug kaguba ang hard disk?

TS define physical damages and virtual damages. Platter disk damage cant be fix using this so called HDD Regenerator, maybe a warning can be provided by this soft..besides, kng naa pa lang mkaau ug mga physical damages nga soft, wala cguro kaau mguba nga HDD..its a matter how long na u HDD and how mal2x pud..once naa na gani sign nga murag kanggit na ug tingog u HDD, murag paingun na gyud na xa ug kamatay.

virtual damages(CIP: bad sector/corrupted files) maybe can be fixed by some HDD tools.

Oh noes.... nag worry na nuon ko sa akong movie collection dah... 1TB full of BluRays!!!! ahaka ani.. how can I save these files... murag mag need kog another 1tb jud just to save backup? Pilay usual lifespan sa mga hard disk?
