This was the talk among pinoys at work during breaktime this morning. As what i learned from them, the pinay domestic helper has a family and children in the Philippines, she is in her 30s and the reason she ran away from her employer is because she was physically abused and beaten by her employer. Then when she ran away, she met some pinoy men who in turn sold her to those men and took her to the desert to be raped. As what i learned it was even more than 17 men who did it. The number i heard was 50. Naa kuno mga pinoy syndicate didto who sell, loan, or pawn these pinays for *** in exchange for money. That's quite terrible.

Filipinos goes abroad to find a better paying job in order to support their family here. We should blame ourselves for what ever bad things happened.

1. The Government - Failure of the government to find more investors to create more jobs, and increasing the value of Peso.
2. The People - Some of us should be ashamed of ourselves, do we pay taxes correctly? it may come to our mind about corruption. We should report corruption within the govt. in order to stop it. lets be vigilant.
3. The Rapist - heads should roll.

i agree with no. 3 only. whatever we do or what happens to our lives we ultimately should only blame ourselves regardless of our kind of government or our countrymen. the only thing in the world that we have control of is ourselves.

FYI: a nurse friend of my first aid student in red cross was raped by policemen in saudi arabia for sole reason that the girl was wearing shorts while watching T.V. inside a house where she is staying..... then, she was sent to prison and deported back to philippines.... the BIG QUESTION NOW..... naa bay napriso sa nang-rape sa victim?... ang answer WALA.....

The girl (apparently she is only 19) is currently undergoing counseling from the Social Workers at the Filipino Workers Resource Centre and some representatives of the Islam Presentation Committee, according to the Arab Times. 15 of the 17 suspects are under the custody of the police. The Philippine Embassy thinks she has a strong case. If found guilty, the suspects could be sentenced to death.

It's really dangerous for our women to be working in Muslim countries, where the culture and the laws are very much biased against women.
