For me the event was a failure & very boring i even posted this in our Facebook Group Chat.

First:

You should have a scheduled a meeting with the Participants 1 or 2 weeks before the Event, not on the same week. Gi kalit2x pa jd to ninyo ang "meeting" i was suppose to go, but i got stuck at work. I feel bad for Christian, Luis, & Jay. Gi indian sila sa Organizers.. imagina gud na. I know that Christian was very pissed off, wala pa jd na sulti ang organizers if sila ra mo provide sa networking. The day before the event, Christian was sick, he said he might not go to the event, na hangyo ko niya that he has to go, Ang Lan Party dili completo wala si Christian, he did all the networking in all of our Lan Parties, in.ana ka importante si Christian. Even thou wala na syay Computer. Gi pa burrow nako sya sa akong other computer.

Second:

Luis was the first to arrive at the event, i was 2nd. We quickly notice the table arrangements, It was very bad. Apparently the organizers said "naa man nag occupy sa middle ug sa right side gud, mao na sa left side lang ang daw pwede." That was a big mistake on the part of the Organizers already. You should have had permits for the entire Bunzel Lobby, not just 1 side of it. And there was 20 Participants ? What did you expect ? mag huot2x mi did2 ? Then we saw the tables, naa pa gani to ang old table na ako gi gamit kato super wabble. I don't even know nganu gi apil pa to ang table. So of course i had to pick the biggest table for my setup. As every year, even the organizers already know mo dala ko ug 50" na Plasma TV. Then naka huna2x man sd ko that Christian was also gonna bring his 40" Led, that's why kami to nag gamit sa 3 ka tables. 1 for me, pj, luis, christian. Because our tv's nlang daan wouldn't fit on the other tables. People might think gi arrange mga "nindot" or "high end rigs" wala man, mao ra man to ang space naa did2. Their was no bias or plano.. maka ask pa ka ni luis.

Third:

Perting hasula sa guard did2 bai, dili lang si christian gi samok, apil man sd ko. Wala lang ko nag saba2x. Abi man gani ang isa ka guard did2 nag "tresspassing daw ko" "wala daw ko permission". Then gi pa sturya pa nako ang isa ka guard sa isa ka guard, na tu.o na jd that i was part of the Event. Then na abot naman to sila christian, we started setting up the Rigs, then the "Dean" or "Teacher" arrived, kita ko gi question niya si Christian, padung unta ko mo Intervene, but gi una man ni Luis.. Mao to sila na nag "Talk". The way the teacher/dean talked to luis was very disrespectful, Dili pa jd sya mo tu.o naa daw event, and noisy daw kaau mi ?? Then mao to na abot si Paul (one of the organizers) ang teacher/dean nag demand if naa ba jd permit, because she really thought wala. Then Paul said approved na, we have all the permits. But ang teacher/dean nag yaw2x gihapon "You are missing one permit, you don't have a permit for this noise, this is unacceptable." Then mao man to na kalit ra to ug lakaw... Naka sulti jd ko sa mga students did2, SCUMBAG TEACHER/DEAN man to bai. Acting so high and mighty, who do you think you are.

Fourth:

I have to be honest here, I was glad that the organizers prepared us Switches & Routers for the event, as last 2 years we always had Christian doing all the networking. The problem is, faulty man diay to ang isa ka Router did2. Na buang jd si christian ug fix ato, we even thought the switches ang problem. But it was the Router. Then I got ticked off pa jd maau when Paul couldn't even remember the password of the Router. It's his own router... maypa nag dala nlang ko ug router. For everyone's info, the switch christian has is mine btw. Gi hatag mana nako niya in the first place because he always did our networking. So wala jd mi naka setup sa router, dili pa jd ma hard reset. SO wala jud lan party. Mao to standby mode, Even christian was kind of enough to burrow his tab for a minute just to get my STEAM to offline mode, para maka play. Unya pa mga 3pm na abot ang Smart Bro sa ako friend.

Fifth:

You do know there was suppose to be 3 more Sponsors in this event? It wasn't only me, you forgot about Carlotech, Oli's Grill. The banner of X-RIGS didn't even include the logo's of our store. WAIT there isn't even CEBU Group's Logo as-well. It may seem like i am nit picking here, or all i am thinking about is "Business" but we never got any recognition at all, banners even on the MIC, it was all FINEUPGRADES, SILVERSTONES, ROCCAT, etc. Have you forgotten i actually had 10 Cases for display? The organizers couldn't even get me a table to display the cases, which was agreed before hand with the Organizers? Unsay na hitabo ? Gi arrange nlang mga boxes did2 ? I was even suppose to give out 1 Fractal Case in the event, which was the XL Case. But i got pissed off. Wala nlang na hitabo.. Murag there was no point of me bringing the cases nlang did2. If it was all business, nag dala unta ko ug banner sa akong store, nag dala unta ko mga call cards, diba wala?


After the event, na uli ra man ko dritsu tulog, i know the group went to oli's and had a meeting. I agree with what all the people in our group who posted here. Sorry sd kaau that wala ko ka apil.

People might not believe me, but if the group didn't go to the event, di man sd ko mo ad2 sa event, di ko malingaw wala akong mga amigo. Naka kita pa jd ko ni biga biga arwil! hahahaha

well said andy in future reference for the next organizer we do not mind in helping you guys formulate a event we dnt ask for money in return we just want to share our passion of building awesome machines and do not mind to let others use the computers if you guys want to have an amazing event trust me we can make it happen but the question is would you guys want to really commit to it i am sure all of our side would like to commit i would like you guys to show up at one of our lan parties at oli's grill or mismatch internet cafe we are rowdy but we get the job done by 11 am we are up and running and that is with out planning etc...
