    IM FOR NUCLEAR ENERGY...
exaggerating? take a look at what happened recently in Japan, 2010 pa intawn to. Bisan 50-decade old or state-of-the-art technology, fission is dangerous if ma-unstable. Was that an exaggeration? Bisan gani mga countries like United Kingdom, Sweden ug United States, naay several incidence of minor accidents with regards to compromised reactors in the 2000s--imu pang pasaligon sa capabilities sa Pilipinas? We don't have the money to afford and maintain one. We have one in Bataan since the 70s, never used it--because naa sa earthquake prone zone ang Pilipinas. Can we afford transportation, processing, storage, disposal of nuclear materials? Can we prevent it from terrorist exploitation?

if we are going to have a NUCLEAR PLANT here in the philippines it will indeed lessen the cost of electricity. but regarding our financial capabilities to handle NUCLEAR plants in safety is a thing that our government is not yet capable of.

indeed we have pinoy engineers that can handle efficiently a nuclear plant in the near future.. but if in times of natural calamities such as earthquakes, tsunami's or worst very strong typhoons are we sufficient enough? ayaw ingna na pugson na pud nato ato gobyerno na mangutang sa WORLD BANK or IMF para lang mapohonan ang mahimo solusyon ana.

but if we are now economically stable to the point that our fellow pinoy workers will not opt to work abroad anymore because they feel they are financially secured here in our country then maybe pwede na siguro na magtukod ato gobyerno ana..

i would go for nuclear energy jud, since minimal ra kaau ang air pollution compared sa fossil fuels and mo barato jud ang kuryente ani since dako man xag output... ang concern lang nako is asa xa ibutang nga di xa maapektuhan ug earthqaukes or typhoons..
