What made me come up to the decision to bring my children over to stay with me abroad is to keep them away from drugs and violence brought by the increasing crime rate in the Philippines.
In this host country where I'm currently residing it's no haven here, I must say yet you can't find a single Asian expat juvenile roaming around the streets or engaged in criminal activities, brawls and many others.
I have not seen or heard any Filipino youth na na-involve in law breaking related activies.

If you are a parent reading this post, you can relate and agree with my decision.
Being a widow, I have no one there in Philippines that I can ask to look after my children.
Not to mention my kids are growing teens now and very much vulnerable to anything that may brought harm or mislead them from the right path.

I'd be insane not to take an opportunity of migrating to another country.
Moving abroad might keep me away from my family, my loved ones & my friends but it would also mean that I would be able to give them a better life because I will now be "justly compensated" for the amount of work that I do.

What is wrong with you? Miramax knows better than you, from his/her perspective he/she has seen both worlds as what he/she has posted and come to a conclusion that even though it's not perfect haven where he/she's at it's way better than home for his/her kids.

It's a given nga crimes exist on all places. So what's your point?
