Point to Point ni bro or Point to multi point?

Tell us kung unsa nga hardware imong gamit like antenna, router and kung pila ang distance between points.

If Ethernet ang connection to your router(Soho router), Physical Connection ang issue ana niya.
If Wireless ang connection from your PC to your SOHO router, check ang possible signal Interference.

If Ethernet connection man gud then old nga Ethernet cable imong gamit, possible nga naay cross talk mao na mu drop iyang packets(request timed out).

if your talking about ping it means packet determination, if connected and there are percentage loss in ping results, that means there is factor blocking, for an instance specially in wireless: firewall, EMI's(electromagnetic Interference), or distance. usual troubleshooting is to set range of wireless supported like wireless g,n,b(depends sa computer). adjust distance and avoid near appliances or equipments like avr, cpu's etc...

Are you using dhcp ip? Make sure its not conflict to other machine.
Y you have two ip in one station? Try to remove the other ip. Are you pinging within the same ip subnet?

everyone here s is speculating or assuming to create a scenario based on the 1st post... as long as di klarohon ang scenario or netconfig, wa jud tay klaro padungan ani... anyway osi troubleshooting techniques mag-una jud sa layer1, then layer2, then layer 3 in which naa naglaro ang ping diha dapita kay belong na sa layer3 (icmp)
