a happy driver of a KIA carens.. sa ako ning mama na awto.. family car namu.. 5 ni kabuok.. ako ra masulti.. kusogan kaayo awtoha.. 2000rpm pataas, paksit na.. hehehe plus 6 speed so you never go out of the power band... handling? more than you'd expect.. tried once cebu-bogo. left home at 5am meaning ako-a ra ang dan... ended up very convinced on how the car hugged the curves back there.. if naka adto namu bogo you'll know what i mean... drawback lang mubo kaayo... dali ra kaayo masangko labi na puno... mura pud ug awto... hehehe pero kung balikon oct 2008.. carens ghpon ako epapalit.. hehehe

Bro I suggest you check out the new SSANGYONG STAVIC they a 9 seater and 11 seater variant, it's also a korean car and naay similarity gamay sa kia carens. it's a nice car bro, ang ride mura ug awto then ang interior is luxurious gyd.

nindot man ang carens. naka test drive ko ug carens lx gas a/t then nindot kaayo iyang dinaganan. very smooth na pareha jud sa mga awto. luag pod ang iya interior space except sa 3rd row na huot jud siya para sa adults.

ang ako lang main concerns are:
(1) ground clearance - ubos ra kaayo siya para sa usa ka 7-seater. prone jud ni siya na masagyad sa humps ug sa mga inclined na dalan.
(2) presyo - mahal ra jud siya compared sa mga uban na 7-seater like the Innova & the Grand Livina. nawala na ang iyang pagka "value for money".
(3) walay airbag & abs-ebd - sa iyang kamahal, wala jud siyay additional safety features on top sa seatbelts. naa man gani airbag ang mga low-end models sa uban brand e.g. Innova J & Avanza J.

pero if ang imo main concern is riding a diesel 7-seater in relative comfort ra jud, pwede na kaayo sa imo ang carens kay car-like jud kaayo ang iya dinaganan unlike sa uban diesel 7-seaters. pero if gasoline imo ganahan, pwede nimo e-try ug test drive ang Grand Livina kay sa slogan pa niya "Drives like a sedan, you'll forget it's an MPV".

I had 2 friends with very bad experience with KIA cars and their services.
4 years lang guba na ang Turbo sa carens and the mechanics also said dagkhan na sila na replace ug turbo sa carens and Sportage. I'm not sure if ng kwarta lang ba sila cause it cost about 100k grabe normally it will last 10 years ad kia only 4 years. The owner said he always idle 3 minutes before turning it off. naa pud lain 7 years lang guba daw ang automaic transmission (120k). Pero when the owner argue with them and force to repair it it only cost 8k.
