false.... that is your perception/belief/understanding...and forcing it to others' throats by government for the sake of their own good is tyranny of the highest kind.... Let the people succeed and fail on their own...Let the people decide what's best for them...

There should be a limit as to the number of years that they can stay in that position and that they can NEVER be re-elected whether they were a good performing politician or the opposite.
try making your own decree and see to it how it won't benefit you as part of the constituent...

^ yes, democracy has its flaws... that's why we should be more republican... I am an individualist, each person's belief should never be trampled upon by the will of the majority... I live and die by my own choices...but that doesn't i am uncharitable... I choose when and how i can give charity to others, at my own expense, you keep your harvest for your enjoyment.

bro, it's not tyranny. it's like making a law knowing the would benefit Filipinos. Again, you think paying taxes, getting a license to drive, getting a title to own a land are tyrranical acts by the government? It's just that Filipinos should know the missing link to be in the first world status. and that is being smart about money. We need a government that would educate filipinos on the importance of money and adding money to the national treasury should be the top priority.

The examples given are entirely different, except for paying of taxes... Driver's license, to a certain extent but not guaranteed, protects other people's right to life and property. Land Title is a proof of ownership, which is in line with right to property. And both of them are achieved by VOLUNTARY MEANS by an individual. But paying of taxes, its tyrannical by nature...whether it is legitimized or not by chartered laws of men... There are inalienable rights bestowed upon men by nature, and that includes right to property... anyone taking any property from someone by force, either physical or legal, is in all aspects tyranny.. And anything forced upon someone, either popular or unpopular, is also considered tyranny.

Adding money to national treasury? I, as an individualist, an advocate of Liberty and a Republican State, am strongly opposed to that suggestion. It is the mentality of socialists, and communists which violates every person's full exercise of their right to property. We would be entangled in a very long discussion into how illogical it is to fill the government's coffers without realizing that it can only be achieved by doing a certain degree of injustice to everyone else.
