Their previous statement was never given attention before. After all, there is a strict security all over Cebu since November just to prepare for the Summit. Further, their information is incomplete, if not raw since more information is needed just to confirm any of those possible terror attacks.

As far as I'm concerned, Cebu is very well secured and the summit will push through. Let's stop those unwanted and unnecessary speculations.

Apparently one of the governments overreacted to a rumor. There were no confirmed reports received by theAFP and the PNP and even experts are of the opinion that these are just the usual threats which are made anywhere there is a gathering such as an international summit. In any case, the venue is crawling with security trained in counter-terrorism and anti-insurgency measures. If we can build the CICC in eight months, we can sure as hell give adequate protection to the delegates.
