update. sa january 28 na Munoz vs Sonnen!

What a treat for January: Mark Munoz vs Chael Sonnen will fight on January 28. Winner will challenge Anderson Silva. "Filipino Wrecking Machine" Munoz is soft-spoken and an over-all nice guy, while Chael Sonnen is the Heavyweight Champion of trashtalkers. He also earned that privilege after beating up Silva for 4 & 1/2 rounds, the only fighter who was able to do that the champion.

Filipino pride aside, i think Munoz has an edge over Sonnen on this match. Chael Sonnens weapon against his opponents was his wrestling. He takes his opponents to the ground, stays on top and beats them up.I dont think he will be able to do that against Munoz, who is also a wrestler. This might be turn out to be a wrestling match first before anybody gets to hits anybody. I think Munoz has the heavier hands and is more dangerous at ground and pound. And he rolled with Damian Maia for 3 rounds, while Sonnen was submitted by Maia in less than 3minutes.

Hopefully Munoz wins. I dont see him beating ANderson Silva, but I would like to see Chael Sonnen get a dose of his own medicine : a nasty ground and pound. ( i dont think he's ever been KO'd..maybe this will be the first time. =)
