I would suggest only transport planes and choppers para maka deliver ug effective services ang ato PAF sa disasters and emergencies..

gone are the days na naay mahitabong invasion sa isa ka nasud because most of the nations already conquer the world economies and buying fighter jets is not practical anymore.

sokol transport chopper will be arriving this month or next month good addition to our huey..two c-130 is rumored to be purchase later next year..so the need for transport is in the plan so as the fighter jets..f16 and the likes are necessary to defend our airspace against any intrusion,to partol our EEZ labi na sa west Philippine sea..we cannot defend our skies with sokol huey ov-10..we need modern fighter jets..

noop, i beg to disagree we need to upgrade our military equipment to defend our nation when the need arise.just like what other countries are doing..Thailand.Malaysia.Singapore.Vietnam.Indones ia etc. na biyaan nata sa atong silingan nga mga nasud.

u know guys ok man sad ko sa idea na maka purchase ato AFP anang mga latest jetfighters.. kana lang maintenance ba kinsa man daw ang magbayad? kita mga taxpayers na pud? unya magsige man gane tag tago sa mga tax collectors kay para sa ato basin gamiton lang sa corruption ato ginabayad nga tax.. unya baya as years go by nagamahal baya ang mga palitonon even the spare parts of an aircraft is no exception..

If you really want that our PAF would be upgraded to protect from future disputes then go there in the congress to make it happen and suggest there to make a sufficient budget for our AFP..

We have the same problem sa Vietnam in Spratlys. And they purchased modern aircraft to protect their territories against China.
