    DERBY

I went to a Derby last night with my Son and Father in Law just to watch what it is like in a Cock Fighting Arena. Money easily comes and goes in just less than a minute of Cock Fighting. Thousands of pesos on bet is just like penny for the people there. Even Habal2x drivers can afford to bet P 300 - P 1000 in one fight. More than the average minimum wage earner.

I can also feel the sportsmanship of the people there. Betting with just a sign of hand even across the arena. Throwing bundles of money across to the winner of the bet. Trusting only the honesty of the person he bet against.

The people there have no fear on betting for their favorite game fowl "Manok". They call it "Inilog" or "Biya". No fear on how much money they will lose in a matter of seconds. Hoping that they will win. The thrill of not knowing the result of their bet makes it more addictive and fun.

But the Question that pops up in my head is, "Why do majority of Brown Skinned Filipinos like myself are afraid on putting up capital to start a business and be just contented on working for the Rich Chinese or Spanish Blood Filipinos here in our home country when we are capable of starting our own business. We can afford to bet thousands of pesos in just seconds in a Cock Fight without control of the destiny of our money. While in business we have the hands on control on the chances that our capital just like a bet will win."

If only all the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) around the World will invest in our Country like the South Koreans did before for their Country then the Philippines will be a better country to live in. Every Filipino will have a work and earn a decent living in order to raise their families well.

Starting a Business is just like GAMBLING but we have a higher chance of winning because we have the control on the direction and operation we want. Unlike GAMBLING on Lotto or any forms of Betting, you don't have the control of the decision you made, it's 50-50 chance or luck.

INVEST IN OUR HOME LAND PHILIPPINES!!!

that is a true filipino spirit! depending on the hands of luck everytime...I myself also questions them...why siguro because of the colonization of spaniards in our country...they affect the filipino way of seeing things...and to think sila ang nagdala ana nga "sabong" diri sa pinas...look at the mexicans they are also addicted to gambling like cockfighting and boxing...there is no hope in gambling...I hate gamblers also...its better to save money for future use than playing it in luck...Gambling ruins life!

Mao gyud, ang casino maka guba og pamilya coz of money issues. Kay muhurot naman baligya or prenda ang mga assets para lang makaduwa lang sa casino.

Ang Casino angay ra sa mga Millionaire og Billionaire na naay extra money to gamble

casinos are for people who doesn't know what to do with their money.. but for people who are not financially privileged (like me! ), it's better to spend it on important things or invest it on business.

That's true, even while your working for a company, you can still start your own small business. Like Eloading on your office / workplace or Buy and Sell products after your work hours. Some also franchise food carts as their business. There are many ways of earning extra income through small business. Just a thought, "Big Businesses started Small"
