Cannot boot to Mint 10 on working HD after deleting partition in primary Windows HD

ill take note of the error message sir kay naa ko sa office ron kay wla ko other device for internet access sa hauz... clarify lang nako sir ha, boot to the Live CD sa desktop environment jud sa Mint 7 then run terminal then dd2 i type ang commands? kay mao na ako gbuhat na nagka error ko sa command #2...

appreciated kaau sir inyo mga inputs kay ganahan jud ko mka learn Linux..

ang partition kay /dev/sda1 ->where the Mint10 is installed, kay ang /dev/sdb1 ang 1tb man pag check nako sa built in na gparted ug sa fdisk -1 sa terminal...so /dev/sda1 ang partition dba? kay na successfully mount ko man...

mint@mint $ sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt (i assume sda1 imong linux partition and na mount napud nimo sa /mnt directory)
mint@mint $ sudo os-prober (try to issue this command just to be sure you have the correct partition)
mint@mint $ sudo grub-install --root-directory=/mnt /dev/sda

ang error nya kay cannot read stage1 mn... i checked the folder sa boot\grub\ and naa mn dd2 ang stage1 na file, i tried to manually backup all the files inside then deleted them then tried running the commands again and it created them back but same error..so if corrupt ang old stage1 na file after i deleted it then the command created it again -->how can it not read it when it the command itself recreated it?

I recently updated my system to LM12 and I don't see this stage1 file..

nag download ko Mint12 and nag buhat ko Bootable USB using Universal USB Installer from pendrivelinux.com, pero mag boot error, bisag i manual nako select boot device di ghapon..whaha pero sa computer sa kauban ko mo boot man..waaaah Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H (rev. 1.4) ako mobo ang iya mobo kay Emaxx GA-880GM so apreho mi chipset...anyway, nalingaw ra ghapon ko and appreciated kaau ang support sir kay daghan ma learn along the way...nindot ang Mint12

strange dapat mo boot na bai kung mo boot sa imong kauban.. gi check nimo ang bios, gi try nimo gamit tanan USB ports available then d gihapon mo boot? yep ok raman ang LM12 in general.. pero naa lng blima gamay sa akong laptop but not major.. so far I'm enjoying it..

hahaha kng BIOS lang kapila na nako na try ang settings ug Boot priority, USB Zip, USB Floppy, USB HDD, USB Optical Drive -->wla ghapon...boot error ghapon...mag try nlng ko sa supergrub pero wla pko ka download kay la pa time...mka boot unta ko sa Mint12 sa USB then ill use that to fix my Mint10 partition or mag burn nlng ko iso sa DVD, pwede ra ISO file iburn directly sa CD/DVD noh? ma boot na xa? ill keep u posted sir..
