dba for you to be able to use other carriers the legit way you need to have the unlock code? if makuha na na xa will it work with our local carriers?

@akira893 I've done some googling around, the phone needs to be unlocked, so it can be used in our local carriers (smart, globe, sun), and unlocking can be done by using a device called "Gevey sim", however unlocking for now can only be done for lower iOS versions (lower than 4.11.08 , unfortunately TS made the mistake of upgrading his phone to this version which is "4.11.08" as he stated on hist first post.

So for now the whole iphone community is waiting for updates on how to unlock this version 4.11.08, ts doesn't know when it will come out, and even google doesn't seem to know, because the team who previously made the unlocking tools are busy with their wishlist for santa.

When will the update come out? Who knows, it could be months, days, weeks?
So for now unless AT&T will come to the Philippines and build a transmitter overnight, you'r stuck with using the phone as an itouch.

mga bro ang 4.11.08 pwede pod matawag na firmware. ang kato gi mention ganina ni TS na pwede magamitan ug skyroam gmate kay ok pod na workaround pero dili solution. Ang solution mao ang gi trabaho pa sa mga taga Apple DEV_TEAM. Hopefully ma release na..
