    Church = Spiritual
    State = Political

    It's like mixing oil and water. It's quite impossible but only in the Philippines is where we can say it is a special case. Nowhere in the world except in the Philippines where clergymen are also virtual senators and representatives. The Iraq debacle is still a very emotional issue in the US and UK but their religious groups wouldn't touch about it just to exemplify. They don't take it into the streets and destabilize their governments.

    Only in the Philippines, yes only in the Philippines where we are very unique. Sometimes I am thinking of inviting the CBCP that instead of the fundamental law of the Land which is our constitution, why not just use a religious law to make it perfect. Akin to canon law perhaps like Islamic countries having their sharia.

    Ur right mga pre, ang mga pari karon kay sanina na lang ang limpyo nila. Dili sila kasabot about "SEPARATION OF THE CHURCH AND THE STATE".

    Mao siguro dili mo-apil ang Cebu sa prayer rally kay ilang mga pari mismo diri nakasala man gani. Hangtud karon wala pa gud nila gi-release ang pari nag-masahe sa mga estudyante. I think mura bag unfair kaayo sila, kay kung ang goberno gani maka-sala dali-dali dayon nila. Kung sila gani makasala dugay or dili nila ipagawas. Kadaghan na gani nila na gibuhat like for the example katong pari sa Danao na convicted ug assaulting a minor, Ang cardinal pa gani ang nag-tago sa pari. Dugay kaayo sila nipagawas sa pari.

    I must have heard this also before. But their activities tomorrow wouldn't be a conflict. They are bragging about a "prayer rally"... Huh prayer rally kuno. How can a godless (Communists) pray with a godfull (Bishops) and how can both pray together with power players who are just grandstanding (Corrupt Politicians) for the coming elections.

    The Communists pray to Joma Sison, The bishops to God, the corrupt Politicians praying to Velarde and Manalo for their flock's support on the coming election. This is how they are supposed to pray my friends -prayer rally against a president who believes in Jesus Christ.

    Lastly, kay kung successul nila ma-overthrow ang government. I hope na dili na pud ta mobalik sa Spanish colonial period.

    Who the "we" you are talking about? Basin kamo rang mga militante. Personally, I'm not. They were just the colateral damage in a revolution. Hasta mga pari nga nanoo ug Ginoo inyong gamiton sa inyong godless society. Pa prayer rally, prayer rally pa kunohay mo pabilib nga motoo mo ug Ginoo pero mga tawo kahibalo nga inyong talawan nga ginoo tua's Netherlands gapadako lang sa iyang itlog. Di gani mo kapapauli ato aron mo-apil sya sa inyong combate dire.
